InkCut — Privacy policy
Local artwork processing; choices when you share.
Publisher: Mubarak Almahmeed. Effective date: October 5, 2026. Privacy contact: almahmeed.dev@gmail.com.
Artwork stored and processed on your device
InkCut processes source images, cleanup, tracing, editable vectors and file generation on your device. It stores project content, normalized source assets, revisions and recovery records locally. InkCut has no account, advertising or analytics. Your artwork is processed locally without an external AI service.
Permissions and selected files
Camera access is requested when you choose capture. Photos uses the system selected-item picker; Files uses your explicit selections. Providers may use their own accounts and networks. The image kept by InkCut excludes the selected file’s provider name, EXIF/GPS information and DPI. Export files can include design dimensions and labels you choose.
Exports and editable backups
You choose whether and where to save or share. Public SVG/PDF/PNG files contain the exported design and chosen labels, excluding the original source image, private notes and recovery history. Exported designs can themselves reveal personal content you drew. Editable .inkcut backups intentionally contain project/source content, private notes and saved versions, plus project identifiers, format information and integrity checksums used for validated restore. Share them only with recipients you choose.
System services and local security
Device backups, selected file providers and receiving apps can keep copies according to their settings. InkCut does not offer its own cloud synchronization.
Managing data
Archive and Trash organize local projects; permanent deletion is a separate reviewed action. Removing local data does not remove previously exported/shared/provider copies. Deleting the app may remove local work. Keep an editable backup separately.
Support communications
If you email support, Mubarak Almahmeed receives the information you choose to send through email services. Include only what is needed to answer your question; avoid sending private artwork or complete backups unless necessary. You can request deletion of support messages by emailing almahmeed.dev@gmail.com. InkCut never sends support messages automatically.
