Sizefolio — Privacy Policy

Sizefolio is developed by Mubarak Almahmeed through the MubarakLab studio. This policy covers the Sizefolio app and its information pages. The app is being prepared for the App Store.

Local work and developer access

Jobs, owned sources, layouts, private notes, templates, saved versions, printer-profile records and retained outputs are stored locally. The app does not create a Sizefolio account or automatically upload your documents to a developer server. It has no advertising, analytics tracker, cloud AI service or developer backend for layout and PDF creation.

Local storage is not the same as a promise that data never leaves your device. System backups, Photos or Files providers and services you choose can keep copies under their own settings. Sizefolio does not provide app-level cloud synchronization. System text input, device diagnostics and optional Apple analytics sharing follow your device settings and Apple’s privacy practices.

Selected Photos and Files

You select images or files through the system picker. Photos import uses your selected items without requiring unrestricted library access. Files access is scoped to selected files while required content is copied into app-owned storage. A remote provider can require its network access to deliver a selected item.

Supported raster sources are normalized into bounded sRGB PNG copies, with explicit review when reduction is required. Their retained encoding may differ from the selected original. A supported PDF import can retain the complete source PDF even when you select only some pages for the job. The app does not need camera, microphone, contacts or location access for its printing tools.

Sharing, printing and backups

You choose PDF recipients, Files destinations and editable-backup locations. Providers and recipients process their copies under their own practices, including possible off-device storage. Direct AirPrint and printer correction inside Sizefolio are currently unavailable. If you print a saved PDF through another app, that app and the printer handle the file under their own practices.

An editable backup can include complete owned images/PDFs, unselected PDF pages, cropped-out content, private job notes, templates, saved versions, output records and profile records. The backup is not encrypted or password-protected. Keep it in a trusted location; a final printable PDF is a different file.

Crop is not redaction

Cropping controls visibility and does not securely remove hidden content. Source objects or pixels can remain recoverable in output and backups. Generated PDF page content and metadata omit app-private notes and provider paths; the selected artwork can itself contain private information. Output filenames use generated identifiers. Metadata normalization is not secure redaction.

Retention, deletion and diagnostics

Trash keeps work recoverable until explicit permanent deletion. Archiving organizes work and is not a backup. Local deletion cannot recall printed, exported, shared or separately backed-up copies. Manage those copies in their destinations. We do not have a Sizefolio server copy of your library to restore.

The local diagnostic preview can be reviewed and explicitly copied. It includes app/OS versions, library counts and direct-print gate state, while excluding artwork, source names/paths, private notes, printer identifiers and error text. It does not automatically send a support report. Copied text follows the system clipboard’s settings.

App purchase

Sizefolio uses an upfront App Store purchase, with no in-app purchase or subscription. Apple handles the App Store purchase under its own policies. Sizefolio does not ask for your payment-card details or Apple Account password.

Support messages and information pages

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send through the email services involved, including Gmail. Mubarak Almahmeed uses this correspondence to respond to your request, not for advertising, marketing or analytics. Avoid sending private artwork, full backups, passwords or payment details. Support correspondence is kept until Mubarak Almahmeed deletes it or you request deletion; records may need to be retained where required by law. Contact the address below to ask about retained correspondence or request deletion. There is no fixed automatic deletion period.

These pages use GitHub Pages hosting. The Sizefolio pages add no analytics scripts, advertising, cookies or forms. GitHub can process technical request information, including IP addresses, to operate and secure hosting under its privacy statement. External links follow the destination’s practices.
