CutBench — Terms of Use

Last updated: October 1, 2026

CutBench is published by Mubarak Almahmeed under the MubarakLab brand. These pages describe its purchase model and the limits of its planning and workshop records.

App Store license

Apps obtained through the App Store are licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a custom agreement is provided with the app. The applicable agreement on the App Store governs your license. This page does not replace it.

One upfront purchase

CutBench is being prepared for release at a planned US launch price of $24.99, paid upfront with all included features. There are no subscriptions, trials, in-app purchases, upgrade tiers or CutBench account requirements. Final availability, prices and applicable purchase terms are shown by Apple on the App Store.

Apple handles app purchases, redownloads and applicable refund requests. There is no promise of perpetual operating-system compatibility or unlimited future major versions. Redownloading the app and restoring saved workshop data are separate operations.

Planning scope

CutBench produces geometric plans from the material, thickness, dimensions and constraints you enter. It supports rectangular guillotine sheet partitions and straight cuts with fixed board cross sections. Arbitrary polygon nesting and machine control are outside its scope.

Complete candidates are independently verified for the entered geometry. A feasible candidate does not prove minimum waste or optimality, and a bounded search that finds no candidate does not prove impossibility. Drawings are schematic rather than full-size cutting templates.

Check measured material, grain, permitted rotation, kerf and inclusive edge trims before using a plan. CutBench does not certify machine setup, furniture strength or safe workholding. Follow your equipment’s instructions and use your own judgment in physical work.

Actual cuts and retained records

Confirm a cut only after that physical cut has happened. Confirmation records consumption of a unique parent piece and cannot be undone into uncut stock. Corrections append to the history. If a save fails, retry the same operation and measurements without cutting again.

Only measured offcuts explicitly kept become available material. Restored and CSV-imported stock requires physical identity reconciliation. Keep a verified private backup and resolve pending physical work in the original workshop before relying on a backup.
