Listing Studio — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Listing Studio is developed by MubarakLab. This policy covers the app and its information pages. The app requires no Listing Studio account and has no advertising, tracking or analytics SDK, developer backend, or cloud image-processing service.

Local photos and item information

The app stores owned copies of selected photos, item facts, public listing drafts, private preparation notes, checklists, masks, repair strokes, edit recipes, presets and export records on your device. Editing preserves the acquired original photo files. MubarakLab does not automatically receive or upload that content, sell it, or use it to train an AI service.

Optional foreground detection uses Apple's Vision framework on your device. Manual editing and the original-background workflow remain available if detection is unavailable or inaccurate. There is no cloud inference fallback, generated product replacement or paid AI service.

Listing Studio does not provide automatic app cloud sync. Eligible local app data may be included in your device backups according to your Apple backup settings. Photos and Files providers may download selected files from their services. System text input, diagnostics and optional Apple analytics sharing follow your device settings and Apple's privacy policy.

Permissions and selected imports

Camera access is requested when you choose to capture an item photo. The still-photo camera does not record microphone audio. You can import and edit without camera access.

The system Photos and Files pickers supply only the items you choose for import; the app does not request access to scan your whole photo library. Saving a rendered image to Photos requests add-only access. If you decline, Files and sharing remain available. Listing Studio does not request location, microphone, contacts or tracking permission. You can manage permissions in iPhone Settings.

Listing exports and sharing

You decide when and where to save or share files. A public listing pack contains newly rendered images and a technical manifest. The app removes private source capture metadata such as GPS, source-library identifiers and device details from these rendered images and public records. Private preparation notes do not enter public listing text or packs.

When you enable Include details, the pack also contains your approved public facts and listing text. Visible photo content, filenames derived from titles or SKUs, and an optional promotional card may still identify an item even when details are excluded. Review what you share.

The destination you select, including Photos, Files, a cloud provider or another app, controls its copy under its own policies. Listing Studio does not connect to marketplace accounts or post listings automatically. Copying details places the chosen public text on the system clipboard at your request.

Editable backups and original files

An editable .listingstudio backup contains item data, originals, masks and edit information needed to restore your work. A library backup also includes reusable presets and checklists. Original files may retain embedded location, camera and capture metadata. The separate Save original to Files action also preserves the acquired file's metadata.

Editable backups are not encrypted or password-protected. They have different privacy properties from sanitized listing packs. Share them only with someone you trust and choose their storage location carefully. Backup storage providers and device backups have their own protection and retention settings.

Purchases

Apple processes optional Pro subscriptions and restoration using the App Store and StoreKit. Listing Studio reads verified product and transaction information, including entitlement status, expiry, revocation and introductory-offer eligibility, to enable paid features. MubarakLab does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password. Apple manages purchase records under its own policies.

Expiry does not delete your items, original photos or repairs. Existing editing, individual exports and editable backups remain available; new Pro operations may be limited.

Retention, deletion and recovery

Local work remains until you delete it. Archive organizes items without deleting media. Trash is recoverable until permanent deletion. Active export jobs can retain source files they still need; resolve or discard the job before deleting those sources. Cache cleanup removes regenerable previews rather than originals or authored repairs.

Creating an editable backup retains an internal backup copy. Manage and delete these separately in Settings → Storage & backups; an older backup can retain an item after you delete the working item. Explicit reusable-library recovery also keeps the damaged original settings file, which can contain custom names or checklist text, for recovery or deliberate sharing.

Uninstalling the app can remove local work. Keep an editable backup of items you want to preserve. We cannot retrieve an item from a Listing Studio server because no server-side item copy exists. Deleting in the app does not retract files already saved to Photos, Files, device backups or other recipients; manage those copies separately. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Support email and website

If you email support, MubarakLab receives your email address, message and attachments through the email provider. We use that correspondence to respond to your request. Send only what is necessary, avoiding private photos, full backups, passwords and payment details. Contact us to request access to or deletion of support correspondence; retention may be necessary where required by law.

These pages use GitHub Pages. We add no analytics scripts, advertising, forms or cookies to the Listing Studio pages. GitHub may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to operate and secure hosting under its privacy statement. External destinations have their own policies.
