Listing Studio — Guide & Support
Prepare clear photos and accurate facts for your next listing.
Listing Studio: Seller Photos is available for iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Prepare clothing photos and factual item details, review the finished files, and share them to a destination you choose. Download on the App Store.
Free includes three active items, the complete editor, editable backups and watermark-free single-item export. Archive an item to free an active slot. Optional Pro adds unlimited active items, multi-item export jobs, saved brand presets and custom shot templates. Each listing pack supports up to 12 selected photos, plus one optional promotional card; Pro batch jobs support up to 100 items.

Prepare your first item
- Create an item. Enter the title and facts you know, such as size, condition and measurements. Keep private preparation notes separate from public condition notes. Listing Studio does not identify brands, authenticate products or estimate prices.
- Follow the shot checklist. Photograph the front, back and label, plus visible wear or useful details. Capture with the rear camera, or import JPEG, HEIC or PNG stills from Photos or Files. Camera denial leaves import available. Live Photos contribute their still image only.
- Select and review photos. Assign shot roles, choose the cover and arrange up to 12 selected photos. Keep condition evidence visible. A missing required role can be explicitly waived with a reason; it is never treated as captured.
- Edit and compare. Keep the original background or make an optional cutout, then adjust crop, framing, background and restrained tonal settings. Edits preserve the acquired original file. Review again after changing an image.
- Review details and export. Listing text formats the facts you supplied. Check every public statement and the selected photo order before saving or sharing a listing pack.
Automatic cutout and manual repair
On-device foreground detection is optional. When it succeeds, choose the intended subjects and inspect edges against light and dark backgrounds. Lace, straps, labels, translucent fabric and nearby objects can need manual review.
Use Keep to restore original pixels and Remove to change the mask. Adjust brush size and hardness, zoom in, and choose Pan to move around without painting. Undo and Redo preserve reversible repair steps. Repairs remain tied to the original photo when you change the crop or output size.
If detection is unavailable or the result is inaccurate, use manual repair, keep the original background or retake the photo. The app does not generate missing product details, remove flaws automatically or replace the product with a generated scene.
Export finished files
Review the export checklist, including missing evidence, changed images and any low-resolution warning. You can acknowledge named omissions to export a draft. Ready, Exported and a manually applied listing status describe preparation in the app; none confirms marketplace acceptance or posting.
Plain images use SDR sRGB: square 2048×2048, 4:5 at 1600×2000, or 3:4 at 1536×2048. JPEG is opaque; PNG can preserve transparency when a usable mask is applied. An optional separate promotional card is a square 2048×2048 JPEG. Generic sizes are not a guarantee of a marketplace's requirements.
A listing ZIP includes rendered photos and a technical manifest.json. Include details adds listing text and approved public facts. Private preparation notes and private capture metadata are excluded. Filenames, visible image content and an included promotional card may still identify the item when details are off.
Open View contents to inspect the actual files. Use the system share sheet, Files or Save to Photos explicitly. Declining Photos access leaves Files and sharing available. Canceling a destination sheet does not mean the file was saved there. Listing Studio does not sign into marketplaces or automatically upload listings.
Pro batch packs support up to 100 items per job. Keep the app open while exporting. Jobs save completed progress; after an interruption, use Export history to review or resume the saved job. Partial results name omissions. Retry failures or explicitly choose completed files; a partial pack is not labeled complete. Check available storage if a render or save fails.
Back up and restore editable work
Use Settings → Back up all items or the item's backup action and save the .listingstudio file somewhere you control. An editable backup includes originals, facts, checklists, edits and masks; a library backup also includes saved presets and checklists. Previously rendered export files are separate.
Backups are not encrypted or password-protected. Original photos may contain location and camera metadata. Share a finished listing ZIP when you only intend to share prepared images, and share an editable backup only with someone you trust. Save original to Files also retains metadata present in the acquired source.
Choose Settings → Restore editable backup. The app validates the archive before creating independent copies. On Free, extra active items are restored to Archived. A public listing ZIP is not an editable backup.
Archiving makes room under the free active-item limit but does not free media storage. Trash keeps items recoverable until permanent deletion. Do not uninstall as a first troubleshooting step: there is no Listing Studio server copy of your work. Maintain a separate editable backup.
The app also retains a local copy when you create a backup. In Settings → Storage & backups → Retained backup copies, review those copies, share one again or delete an internal copy explicitly. Deleting an internal backup does not delete your working items or copies you saved elsewhere. Deleting an item does not remove its copies inside older backups.
If saved styles or custom checklists cannot be read, Settings shows a recovery notice. Choose Preserve damaged file and reset… to retain the damaged bytes before starting an empty reusable library, then restore a known-good editable backup if available. Existing item styles and checklists are unchanged. Preserved recovery files may contain custom text; share them only deliberately.
Free, Pro and billing
Free includes three active items, full-quality single-item export without a watermark, normal editing and editable backups. Pro adds unlimited active items, new multi-item export jobs, saved brand presets and custom shot templates. Photo and batch safety limits still apply. Existing items, applied styles, edits, single-item exports and backups remain available after Pro expires.
Monthly and annual Pro plans, where available, unlock the same features. Apple supplies localized prices and eligible introductory offers. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used to subscribe. Pending purchases unlock Pro only after a verified entitlement becomes available.
Open Listing Studio Pro → Manage Subscription or Apple's subscription settings to review or cancel a plan. Deleting the app does not cancel billing. Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
