MubarakLab

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

This policy covers Replay Notebook and its information pages from MubarakLab. You do not need a Replay Notebook account. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDK and has no developer-operated backend that receives your notebook.

Your local notebook

Sessions, acquired video, private notes, manual alignment, drawings, voice memos, narration, saved configurations and preferences are stored in the app's local library. MubarakLab does not automatically receive these materials. They are not uploaded for AI processing, technique scoring or model training.

The app does not provide its own cloud synchronization. Your operating system may include app data in a device backup according to your Apple settings. System keyboards, optional Apple diagnostics and other operating-system services follow your settings and Apple's privacy policy.

Camera, microphone and selected media

Camera permission is used to record the practice video you request. Camera audio starts off. Microphone access is requested for optional video sound, a voice memo or narration only when you choose that recording action. The app does not continuously listen, transcribe your recordings or send them to a speech service.

Photos and Files pickers deliver the videos you select. The app acquires an owned copy so that a completed import can remain usable if its provider changes. The current Photos presentation can include edits and slow motion. A selected item held in iCloud or another provider may require a download under that provider's policies.

Saving an output to Photos requests add-only access. If you decline, saving to Files and sharing remain available. You can change permissions in iPhone Settings. The app does not request location, contacts, HealthKit or advertising-tracking permission.

Public outputs and private backups

You decide whether and where to save or share an MP4, PNG, acquired original or editable backup. The destination you choose may upload it. Its provider controls that copy under its own policy.

Rendered outputs contain the images, drawings, labels, public caption and audio you approve, with unnecessary source metadata excluded. Removing metadata does not anonymize faces, voices, uniforms, locations visible in the image or words you include. Private journal text is not automatically copied into public captions; voice memos are separate from narration.

An acquired original may retain source metadata. A .replaynotebook editable backup includes selected sessions and their required dependencies, which can include additional sessions, private notes, recordings and originals. Review the dependency summary before saving. The archive is not encrypted or password-protected by the app. Choose its storage location and recipients carefully.

Purchases

Apple processes Pro subscriptions and restores through the App Store. The app uses StoreKit's verified product and transaction information to determine access, including product identifiers, validity, expiration and revocation. There is no developer subscription server. We do not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password.

Apple handles purchase records under its own policies. Pro ending does not delete notebook content; it can limit new Pro operations while your existing work remains accessible.

Retention and deletion

Archive changes organization and active capacity, not disk use. Trash retains local work until you explicitly delete it permanently; it has no automatic expiry. Shared references and active operations protect sources that are still needed. Cache cleanup removes regenerable previews, not original media, notes, drawings, memos or narration.

Local deletion does not erase copies already saved to Photos, Files, device backups or other recipients. Manage those copies separately. Deleting the app can remove its local library; retain a separate recoverable backup of work you want to keep. We cannot recover it from a Replay Notebook server because there is no server-side notebook copy. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Optional support correspondence

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send through the email service. We use these to respond and investigate your request. The app does not automatically attach media or journal content. Its sanitized diagnostic preview contains app, OS, SDK and configuration information, and sharing that report is optional.

Please avoid sending private footage, backups, passwords or payment information. Contact us if you want access to or deletion of support correspondence. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve an ongoing request. We do not use support messages for advertising or sell them.

These pages and external services

The Replay Notebook pages use plain HTML and CSS on GitHub Pages. We add no tracking scripts, advertising cookies or submission forms. GitHub may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to provide and secure hosting under its privacy statement. External links and email services follow their own policies.

Children and recorded people

Replay Notebook is a general-purpose personal journal, not a children's social service. It has no public profiles or social feed. Record and share other people only with the rights and consent required for your situation, particularly when children appear in footage. Contact support if you believe personal information was sent to us by mistake.
