Your room plans are kept in RoomFit’s local library. You choose what to import, export, share or send to support.

This policy describes the RoomFit iPhone app and these support pages. For privacy questions, contact .

1. Information kept in the app

RoomFit stores room measurements, openings, furniture details, alternatives, quantities, entered prices, notes, reference images, custom presets, app preferences and retained export files on your device. It uses this information to provide your planning, budget, reference-board, export and recovery tools.

RoomFit does not require an app account and does not upload your planning library to a developer-operated server. The app has no advertising SDK, tracking service, external AI integration or automatic analytics service. It does not scrape retailer websites or obtain live prices.

The app uses local technical state to save and recover work and to verify purchases through Apple. It does not automatically attach your library to diagnostics or support messages.

2. Photos and Files you select

You choose individual still images through the system Photos picker or Files importer. RoomFit creates optimized, app-owned copies after a successful import. It does not require broad access to browse your photo library and does not use camera, microphone or location access for room planning.

The imported copies have normalized metadata rather than the source GPS or device metadata. This does not redact what the picture shows. A photo may still reveal people, addresses, possessions or other personal details.

A selected item stored with a cloud provider may need to download before import finishes. That transfer follows the provider’s settings and policy. Once acquired, the local copy remains available in RoomFit even if you remove access to the original provider item.

3. Exports, backups and recovery copies

You choose whether and where to save or share files. PDF, PNG and CSV outputs use accepted snapshots and the content selected for the export. Private project notes are excluded from these public outputs. Selected names, captions, product links, costs and visible image content can still identify you or your home, so review the output before sharing.

Editable backups include private content. A .roomfit backup includes the selected projects’ notes, room details, shopping information and owned photos. These backup files are not encrypted. Anyone with access to the file may read its contents.

Creating a backup saves a local file in RoomFit’s Backups folder in Files, even if you later cancel Save or Share. Recovery copies may also include private content and remain in RoomFit’s Recovery or RecoveryExports folders. Manage those files separately from the editable project.

Restoring a valid backup creates fresh project identifiers rather than overwriting existing projects. A backup does not contain authority to unlock Pro. Files you save to other services or give to other people are handled by those destinations.

4. Apple purchases

Apple processes the optional RoomFit Pro purchase and purchase restoration through the App Store. RoomFit uses verified StoreKit transaction and entitlement information on your device to decide which Pro actions are available. RoomFit does not receive your payment-card details.

Apple may process account, purchase and diagnostic information under its own settings and policies. See Apple’s App Store privacy information. Existing room data is preserved when a purchase entitlement changes.

5. Messages you send to support

If you email , the support mailbox receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. These are used to respond to your request and understand the reported issue. Email delivery and storage also involve your email provider and the support mailbox provider.

RoomFit’s support-draft tool starts with app and iOS version details switched off. You can choose to include them and review the exact text before copying or sharing. The app does not send a message by itself or automatically attach rooms, prices, notes or images.

Support correspondence is separate from the on-device library. To ask about a message or request deletion of correspondence, email the same support address. Deleting a project in the app does not delete an email you sent.

6. Keeping and deleting your data

The local library retains your saved work until you remove it. Archiving changes project organization and active capacity; it does not erase the project. Trash does not expire automatically. You can permanently delete a project from Projects → Trash.

Other projects or retained exports may still refer to shared images or older snapshots. Manage generated files in Export history, and manage editable backups and recovery copies in Files. Settings → Storage reports local usage and offers cleanup of verified temporary duplicates.

Removing the app can remove its local data. Off-device backups and previously shared copies remain subject to their destination’s controls. RoomFit cannot recall a file someone already received or remotely remove a copy saved elsewhere. No RoomFit account needs to be deleted.

Device backup services may retain app data according to your system settings. Local deletion is not a guarantee of physical erasure from a device or another service. Exported editable backups are not encrypted.

7. Websites, system services and these pages

Opening a product link deliberately takes you to the chosen website. RoomFit does not automatically fetch those links when you open a project, restore a backup or create an export. The website you visit applies its own policies.

Photos and Files providers, device backups, sharing destinations and Apple services can use a network connection under their own settings. Apple may provide the developer with App Store purchase reports, aggregate usage information or diagnostics under Apple’s applicable settings. RoomFit does not add an independent analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

These support pages contain no analytics scripts, tracking pixels, third-party fonts or cookies. Serving a website involves connection information such as an IP address and browser request; the hosting service may process that information to deliver and maintain the site.

8. Changes and contact

This page will be updated if RoomFit’s information practices change. The date above identifies the current policy text.

For questions about this policy or a privacy request, email . Please describe the request without sending unnecessary private room information.
