Take Studio — Terms of Use

Take Studio is developed by MubarakLab. The app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. This page explains Take Studio's features and purchase conditions; it does not replace that license or remove rights under applicable consumer law.

Using Take Studio

Take Studio helps you plan, record, edit, caption and export short spoken videos on iPhone. You keep ownership of content you create. Record, import and share only content you have the right to use, and obtain any consent required for recording other people.

Automatic captions are optional and can contain errors. Review text and timing before publishing. Transcription depends on supported hardware, language and installed Apple model assets. Manual captions remain available without those models.

The current app requires iOS 26 or later. Exports are SDR MP4 at 30 fps in portrait, square or landscape, up to five minutes. HDR imports are not supported. Recording, saving and export depend on permissions, storage and device conditions. Check a saved output before relying on it.

Free features and Take Studio Pro

The free plan includes one active project and the complete manual script, editing, captioning and export workflow without a watermark. Archive a project to make room for another. Existing projects, including archived projects, remain editable, exportable and recoverable.

Take Studio Pro adds multiple active projects and reusable caption brand presets. Monthly and annual plans, where available, unlock the same Pro features. If Pro expires or is revoked, existing projects, media, edits, exports, backups and previously applied styles remain accessible. New Pro operations may be limited.

Subscriptions and eligible trials

Take Studio Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription. Apple shows the available plan, localized price, billing period and any eligible introductory offer before you confirm a purchase. An annual plan is billed for the full year. An offer on this website does not establish your eligibility; rely on the offer displayed by Apple.

If an eligible free trial is offered, the app displays its duration and the full recurring price that follows it. A trial converts to the displayed paid subscription unless canceled. To avoid renewal after a free or discounted trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. No trial is promised unless it is configured and available for your Apple Account.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Apple processes billing under its Media Services terms. Use Settings → Manage subscription in Take Studio or Apple's subscription settings to review or cancel a plan. Deleting the app or local projects does not cancel billing.

Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account used to subscribe. Pending or unverified purchases do not unlock Pro until Apple confirms a valid entitlement. Apple handles App Store refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com; refund eligibility follows its policies and your applicable rights.

Your content and backups

Editing is non-destructive, but you should keep a separate backup of work you want to preserve. A .takestudio backup includes the editable project and owned originals. It is not encrypted or password-protected. Finished exported videos are separate files. Share only the content you intend the recipient to receive.

There is no Take Studio account or server backup from which we can recover your projects. Uninstalling the app or permanently deleting media can remove local work. Copies saved outside the app must be managed separately. See the privacy policy for storage, deletion and support-message details.

Availability and changes

The Apple license governs software warranties and responsibility, subject to applicable law. These pages do not promise error-free operation, uninterrupted availability, a particular video outcome or compatibility with every future device or operating system.
