GoutTracker — Privacy Policy

GoutTracker is developed by MubarakLab. It requires no MubarakLab account, contains no advertising, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Health diary stored on your device

Food records, portions, meal times, water volumes, uric-acid readings, symptom episodes, notes, targets, and preferences are stored locally on your device. MubarakLab does not automatically receive this diary.

The home-screen widget receives only a bounded same-day summary through an Apple App Group. Individual foods, lab values, symptom details, and notes are not placed in the widget snapshot.

Exports, backups, and deletion

You can deliberately create a PDF report or JSON backup. iOS then lets you choose whether and where to send or save it. The selected app or service handles that copy under its own terms. GoutTracker provides an in-app full erase for local diary data, preferences, widget summary, and temporary reports. App Store purchase records remain managed by Apple.

Deleting the app removes its local data unless your device or operating-system backup restores it. GoutTracker does not currently operate app-managed cloud synchronization for health history.

Optional product analytics

When “Share anonymous product usage” is enabled, GoutTracker uses TelemetryDeck and may use a configured MubarakLab HTTPS endpoint for coarse events such as app session, onboarding step, feature or paywall view, offering result, and report creation or share intent. These events do not include food names, nutrient bands, lab values, joints, symptoms, medication details, or notes, and they do not include a persistent GoutTracker account identifier. You can disable this in Settings; the app stops new product events and clears its local pending queue.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions. RevenueCat receives anonymous store product, purchase, entitlement, and restore information needed to show plans and unlock Pro. GoutTracker does not receive payment-card information or Apple Account credentials and does not enable RevenueCat's AdServices attribution-token collection. Apple's handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Retention and security

Local diary data remains until you edit, erase, or delete it, subject to device backups. Temporary reports are kept only to support preview and sharing and older temporary reports are cleaned up by the app. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed perfectly secure; protect exported files according to their sensitivity.
