PocketQuest — Support
Help with your trail, your Watch and your saved adventure.
Start your adventure
- Open PocketQuest on Apple Watch and meet Nib.
- Take the first path and begin your free visit. Choose a response and read the saved memory.
- Complete the second tutorial visit, also free. You can then visit Camp or choose to set up optional movement.
No custom account or Motion permission is required for the tutorial or Camp. The iPhone app is a companion viewer, not a replacement for Watch gameplay.
Trail Sparks and Camp
Later first visits cost the Sparks shown before travel. A visit is saved before the app reports a successful reservation, so returning to an unfinished visit does not charge again. Replays cost and grant nothing.
Camp has three untimed activities. Select a response and tap Finish to complete one. Each activity offers 10 Sparks once per campaign day, for up to 30 daily Camp Sparks. You may replay afterward without another gift. Camp-only progress is slower but can fund the entire unlocked campaign over at least 62 earning days.
Movement missing or delayed
After the tutorial, open the Watch’s movement setup and choose whether to allow Motion access. PocketQuest uses only the owning Watch’s eligible steps. It never adds phone steps. Open the Watch app to refresh available history; a complication or phone refresh request does not guarantee an immediate sensor update.
Denied or unavailable movement is not a verified zero. Check the app’s movement status and the Watch’s system privacy settings. If access is unavailable, keep playing at Camp. Do not uninstall the app or reset your adventure just to troubleshoot a permission problem.
Your campaign day
Settings shows the timezone saved when the adventure began. Daily Camp gifts and movement limits use that timezone even when you travel. Clock changes do not undo a gift already claimed for that day.
iPhone sync and widgets
Open PocketQuest on the paired Watch and iPhone after installation. On iPhone, use Settings → Watch & sync → Request update. The phone shows the last received snapshot and its date; if the Watch is unreachable, a request cannot wake it or promise new data. Widgets also show saved, dated information.
If another Watch or restored adventure appears, review it before adopting it. Older and restored saves stay separate. Phone controls and widgets cannot spend Sparks, choose story outcomes or decorate your home.
Back up, restore or recover
Use iPhone Settings → Save & backups to export the last received adventure. Check its date before relying on it. An imported file is staged for review; open Watch Settings → Save & backup and explicitly confirm replacement there. The previous local save is retained for recovery. Purchase access and old movement history are not granted by a backup.
If a save fails or a recovery screen appears, keep the existing app data and address available storage or retry after unlocking the device. Review any offered intact adventure copy before replacement. Export a backup when possible before removing an app, resetting a world or changing devices.
Reset starts a new world on the Watch and queues a deletion notice for the phone. It does not erase external backups or immediately delete an offline peer’s copy.
Unlocking and restoring the full game
Open Settings → Full game on Watch, or Settings → Full game / Restore purchases on iPhone. Apple shows the available permanent offer and current price. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that bought it. Wait for Apple’s confirmation if approval is pending.
If the product cannot load, retry when Apple’s services and your connection are available. A missing offer does not erase free progress or earned items. Refund requests go through Apple’s Report a Problem. The unlock is not a subscription.
Readability and feedback
Use system text-size and VoiceOver settings; long choices and pages scroll. PocketQuest follows system Reduce Motion, and haptics can be adjusted in Watch Settings. Successful choices and grants also have visible saved results.
