PocketQuest — Terms of Use

These product terms explain your use of PocketQuest, developed by MubarakLab. The app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Apple’s applicable App Store terms also govern downloads, billing and refunds. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Using PocketQuest

PocketQuest is for personal entertainment on compatible Apple devices. Apple Watch is required for gameplay. The iPhone companion provides browsing, sharing and backup; it cannot make story choices, spend Sparks or arrange your home remotely.

The artwork, writing and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Use and copying are subject to the license, including any exceptions required by law.

Free content and the permanent unlock

The first region is free. One nonconsumable in-app purchase opens regions 2–6 of the bundled Lantern Trail campaign. The current localized price and purchase terms are shown by Apple before confirmation. There is no subscription or recurring PocketQuest charge for this unlock.

The unlock covers the stated campaign, not an unlimited promise of future campaigns or unrelated products. It does not sell Trail Sparks. Sparks and rewards are fictional game resources with no cash value, transfer market or redemption outside the app.

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for the purchase, and visit reportaproblem.apple.com for refund requests. Pending approval does not grant access. A refund or revocation can lock new premium visits while preserving earned progress; an already paid pending encounter can still finish.

Movement is optional

Camp offers a permission-independent path. Optional movement rewards depend on available Watch observations and system permission. Counts and refresh timing can be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. PocketQuest is not a medical, fitness, safety or activity-measurement service and makes no health or exercise-performance promise.

Campaign days use the timezone saved with your adventure. Camp and movement grants follow their daily limits; rewards are not guaranteed at an exact wall-clock moment or by leaving the app in the background.

Your save and backups

Keep an exported backup before replacing a device or making destructive changes. The owning Watch saves the adventure; the phone shows the last received copy. Recovery requires explicit Watch confirmation, replaces the chosen adventure and creates a separate save generation. Adventures do not merge.

Device failure, unavailable storage, removal of an app or loss of an external file can affect recovery. A purchase does not provide a developer-hosted backup service. Resetting a world does not erase copies you exported elsewhere or immediately erase an offline device.

Availability and responsibility

Device compatibility, Apple services and system scheduling affect availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law and the governing license, PocketQuest is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or perfect data recovery. Statutory rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
