NextStep — Terms of Use
Last updated: September 10, 2026
These terms apply to NextStep, developed by MubarakLab. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. Your App Store license is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These app-specific terms explain NextStep's features and purchase conditions; they do not remove rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Using NextStep
NextStep is a personal routine and time-planning tool. You are responsible for the routines, instructions and deadlines you enter and for deciding when an action is complete. You may use and share your own routine content. Use of the app software remains subject to the license and applicable law.
A timer reaching zero, a reminder or app suspension does not complete a step. Done, Skip and End are explicit actions. Pausing or adding step time does not move a finish-by deadline; changing the deadline is a separate choice. Forecasts and suggested durations are estimates, not guarantees.
Notifications, haptics, widgets, Live Activities and paired-device transfers depend on operating-system permissions, settings, connectivity and device conditions. Do not rely on NextStep as an emergency, medical or other safety-critical alert system. It does not diagnose or treat a condition or verify that you actually left home or performed a task.
Free features and NextStep Pro
Free includes two saved non-archived routines, unlimited starts, basic editing and execution, reminders, essential widgets, seven-day history viewing, local duration suggestions and data export/import. Pro adds additional saved routines, full history presentation, advanced planned-versus-actual comparisons and authored program collections.
If Pro access expires or is revoked, existing routines remain available to view, run and edit. Additional creation may be limited while you are at or above the free allowance. Older history stays stored and exportable. Active routines, accessibility and basic session reliability do not depend on a paid subscription.
Purchases, subscriptions and lifetime access
Where available, NextStep Pro is offered through monthly or annual auto-renewing subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The App Store purchase sheet shows the available product, localized price and billing period before you confirm. A trial is not included unless an eligible offer is explicitly displayed by Apple.
Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and renewal may be charged during the 24 hours before the next period. Review and manage your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Billing is governed by the Apple Media Services terms.
Lifetime access is a one-time purchase of Pro features without recurring billing. It does not promise that the app will be maintained forever or work on every future device or operating system. Buying lifetime access does not cancel an existing subscription; manage that subscription separately through Apple.
You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription in Apple Account settings. Removing NextStep or deleting local data does not cancel billing. Use Restore purchases in NextStep with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Pending or unverified purchases do not unlock Pro until Apple confirms a valid entitlement.
Apple handles App Store payments and refund requests. Request assistance at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund eligibility follows Apple's applicable policies and your statutory rights; contacting us or uninstalling the app does not automatically issue a refund.
Your content and backups
You keep ownership of the routine content you create. Make your own exports if you want an additional backup. Full exports can include private history and notes. Share only content you intend the recipient to receive. Paired sync is eventual, and an offline device may retain an older copy or independent session until it reconnects.
Deleting local app data cannot erase copies you saved elsewhere or sent to others. There is no NextStep account or server backup from which we can recover your routines. Details of storage, sync, deletion and support messages are in the privacy policy.
Availability and responsibility
NextStep is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact alert delivery, error-free operation or a particular outcome from a routine. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. The license and Apple's terms also govern the rights and remedies that apply to your purchase.
Changes and contact
Updates to these terms will appear on this page with a new last-updated date. Purchase terms are those shown by Apple when you subscribe or buy, subject to its renewal and change rules. Contact almahmeed.dev@gmail.com with questions.
