Study Desk — Terms of Use

Study Desk is developed by Mubarak Almahmeed under the MubarakLab studio name. The app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. This page explains Study Desk's features and purchase conditions; it does not replace that license or remove rights under applicable consumer law.

Your material and study decisions

Study Desk helps you turn PDFs, selected photos and text into source-linked cards, practice sessions and revision sheets. You keep ownership of content you create. Import and share only material you have the right to use. Exporting a card, crop, quotation or backup does not grant you rights to someone else's textbook, image or handout.

Recognition and source selections can contain errors. Compare cards and corrected text with the original source before relying on them. You choose the reference answer and your own recall grade. StudySchedule v1 is a deterministic scheduling policy, not a validated prediction of mastery or exam performance. Exam plans and progress summaries are organizational aids, not guarantees of results.

The app requires iOS 26 or later. Scanning, file access and exports depend on device capability, permissions, source format and available storage. Ordinary iPhones retain the core study workflow. The current app does not offer automatic AI question drafting.

Free and Pro

Free includes one active course and up to 200 active independently scheduled card variants. It includes manual card types, source access, recall and Practice, readable revision sheets, card packs, editable backups and recovery. Archive can preserve existing courses outside the active allowance.

Optional Pro adds active-course/card capacity and saved filters, custom plans and revision layouts. Annual and one-time Pro, where available, provide the same stated features. If annual access expires or a purchase is revoked, existing work remains reviewable, editable and exportable. New growth and newly saved Pro settings may be restricted.

Purchases

Annual Pro is an auto-renewable subscription billed for the full year. One-time Pro is a non-consumable purchase with no recurring billing. Apple displays the actual localized price and plan before confirmation. No trial, promotional price or live product availability is promised by this page.

Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Manage or cancel through Settings → Purchases and restore → Manage subscription or Apple's subscription settings. Cancellation normally preserves already-paid access until its expiration. Buying one-time Pro does not cancel an annual subscription; cancel renewal separately if desired.

Apple handles payments under its Media Services terms. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for the purchase. A pending or unverified purchase does not create new access. A library backup does not restore an entitlement. Refund requests go through Apple's report-a-problem service.

Backups and exports

Check a saved export in its destination. Keep private editable backups before deleting the app or permanently deleting library material. There is no developer-hosted copy of your coursework. A private backup can include original documents, private notes and learning history; it is not a sanitized public card pack and is not encrypted by Study Desk.
