ProofBook — Job photos. Clear reports.

Content revised: September 25, 2026

Job photos. Clear reports. Native on iPhone.

Keep a clear record of the work before you leave. ProofBook brings labeled job photographs, checklist answers and observations into a branded PDF you can review and hand over.

Capture the work. Explain what matters. Hand over a clear report.

Built for independent renovation contractors. Native on iPhone, with no app account and an offline photo-to-PDF workflow.

Give the work context

Organize a job by area and label photographs Before, During, After or Unspecified. Add public captions and separate private notes. Built-in templates help organize documentation; they are not regulatory standards.

Review the file you share

Crop and annotate photographs, burn opaque redactions into the report image, and prepare an A4 or US Letter PDF. Review every page before sharing. New public edits create a new unsigned revision, while older prepared and acknowledged reports remain available.

Work without an app account

Once photographs are acquired into the app, core documentation and PDF preparation work offline. There is no ProofBook account or developer-operated document server. Save editable backups to a destination you control.

A complete free workflow

Free includes one active job, branding, capture/import, annotations and redaction, checklists/findings, PDF export, optional acknowledgment and editable backup. Archiving makes room for another active job while retaining existing work.

Pro adds capacity for up to 100 active jobs and creation of new custom templates and report styles. Existing jobs and saved configurations remain available after expiry. All plans have operational limits: 500 stored jobs, 10,000 photo records and 200 photos per job. A report can contain up to 100 body pages, plus one optional acknowledgment page.

Pro subscription options

Monthly and annual plans provide the same Pro features. United States pricing is US$9.99 per month or US$79.99 per year. Neither plan includes a free trial. Purchase availability and the current localized price, billing period and renewal terms are shown by Apple before you confirm a purchase.

A record of what you enter

ProofBook does not diagnose defects, certify workmanship or independently verify identity or time. Optional acknowledgment means only “I have been shown this report.”
