ProofBook — Terms of Use

ProofBook is provided by Mubarak Almahmeed through MubarakLab. It is a tool for documenting information you enter. These product terms accompany the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement for an App Store version, unless a different applicable license is supplied with that version.

Documentation, not certification

Record checklist answers and findings accurately and review reports before sharing. Templates organize documentation; they are not regulatory standards. ProofBook does not diagnose defects, certify an inspection or workmanship, or independently authenticate identity, source dates or timestamps.

Optional acknowledgment records only “I have been shown this report.” and binds to the prepared PDF displayed. It does not establish acceptance of workmanship, recipient identity, delivery or a particular legal effect. Relevant public edits produce a new unsigned revision.

Your content and copies

Use content you are entitled to capture and share. Choose appropriate permissions and destinations for client information. Review public captions as well as images: masks do not remove private details typed into text fields.

Keep backups appropriate to your needs. Editable backups include original photographs and private notes and are not encrypted by ProofBook. The app cannot recall copies shared elsewhere. Do not treat a closed share sheet as proof of receipt.

Free and Pro limits

Free includes one active job and the core capture, editing, branding, checklist/finding, PDF, acknowledgment and backup tools. Pro adds up to 100 active jobs and creation of new custom templates and report styles. Operational limits include 500 stored jobs, 10,000 photo records and 200 photos per job. Reports contain at most 100 body pages, plus one optional acknowledgment page.

Expiry does not delete or automatically archive jobs, add watermarks to old reports or lock existing work. Existing jobs and saved configurations remain available to use and edit. New growth follows the current plan and available storage.

Subscriptions

Monthly and annual plans provide the same Pro features. United States pricing is US$9.99 per month or US$79.99 per year. Neither plan includes a free trial. Purchase availability and the current localized price, billing period and renewal terms are shown by Apple before you confirm a purchase.

Apple processes purchases. Subscriptions renew under Apple’s displayed terms unless canceled through its subscription management. Use the app’s Restore Purchases to reconcile an existing subscription, and Manage Subscription or Apple’s cancellation instructions to manage renewal. Refund requests follow Apple’s process.

License and applicable rights

The applicable license governs permitted use and its warranty and liability provisions. Nothing on this page is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Review the license supplied with the version you obtain.
